We are excited to share that our current charity partner is Family and Children’s Association.

Founded in 1884, FCA has been providing a vital safety net for individuals and families facing social, emotional, and economic challenges for over 142 years. With more than 60 comprehensive programs, FCA supports Long Islanders at every stage of life. When you round up your debit card purchases to support Stash for a Cause, you will be helping FCA empower more than 35,000 clients this year—ranging in age from 2 to 102. Let’s work together to reach our fundraising goal and shine a light on the critical work they do.

Adelphi University National Mentoring Celebration

Jovia supported Adelphi University’s National Mentoring Celebration recognizing the important role mentorship plays in student success.

Jovia volunteers partnered with United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island on a beautification project to help create a welcoming outdoor space for program participants.

Jovia volunteers participated in the Oyster Bay/Cold Spring Harbor Protection Committee’s Oyster Gardening Program, helping raise baby oysters that naturally filter water and support healthier local bays.

Jovia partners with Career Day Inc. to connect students with professionals who share real-world career insight and inspire future opportunities.

During our first annual ACLD Earth Day initiative, Jovia team members donated more than 1,000 pounds of clothing to promote sustainability and community reuse.

Each year, Jovia volunteers partner with Backpack Pirates to assemble backpacks filled with essential supplies for the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless.

Jovia and Splish Splash teamed up for our 2nd Annual CareFree Day of “Fun in The Sun”, helping to create an unforgettable opportunity for our local youth and community.

On a hot, 90 degree day, our Jovia team lent a hand to cultivate the Veterans’ Garden supported by the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless.

Jovia team members from across the organization teamed up to help beautify and add a fresh coat of paint to some of the houses of CP Nassau clients.

One of our many projects with Adelphi University includes creating a forum and safe space to have conversations surrounding finance for students.

The Light the Night Walk is a celebration of light to drive out the darkness of cancer and participation has become an annual tradition for Jovia team members.

^{^}By enrolling, you authorize Jovia Financial Credit Union to round up all debit card Point-of-Sale (POS) purchases made by you or joint owners from your enrolled checking account to the next whole dollar. These round-up amounts will be transferred daily at the close of the business day to your designated savings account or Jovia’s currently selected charity. Transactions made on weekends or holidays will process at the close of the next business day. Round-up transfers will only occur if there are sufficient funds available in the checking account. Any transaction covered by a transfer from a SafetyLine overdraft line of credit will not qualify for a round-up transfer. For members enrolled in Stash For a Cause, Jovia will match total collective member round-up donations dollar-for-dollar up to a maximum aggregate dollar limit across the credit union for each charity period. Once this total organizational match pool is exhausted, member round-ups will continue to transfer to the charity, but no further matching funds will be added by Jovia.

Enrollment is limited to one per checking account. You may modify or cancel your enrollment at any time by notifying Jovia in writing; changes may take up to two (2) banking days to process. The program will automatically cancel if your enrolled checking or designated savings account is closed. If enrolled in "Stash For a Cause," transfers will automatically route to Jovia's chosen charity for that period, which Jovia reserves the right to change without notice. Upon completion of a charity period, transfers will revert to your previously selected savings or Primary Share account.

Transfers appear on your monthly statement as a deduction labeled "Stash My Cash Withdrawal" and are not designated as donations. Jovia does not track or report annual donation totals and does not track, report, or allocate Jovia's matching contributions on individual member tax summaries; you are solely responsible for tracking your donation history for tax purposes.
