The event was co-hosted and led by Ganesh Pandit, Associate Professor, Accounting and Law Department, Robert B. Willumstad School of Business and Jovia’s very own Christopher DiLeonardo, Educational Development Officer. Jovia also provided a separate lesson for faculty as well.

The workshop focused on providing basic knowledge and skills of effective money management, including understanding the details of a paystub, budgeting for expenses, saving money, creating an emergency fund, using credit cards wisely, maintaining good credit, and avoiding financial scams. Additional financial literacy workshops and educational sessions will be led by Jovia during the 2023 fall semester.
