What is a PIN?

A PIN is a Personal Identification Number. Each debit or credit card is assigned a 4-digit PIN to provide security when accessing your accounts at an ATM or through a merchant. When you activate your debit or credit card, you will have the ability to select your own PIN.

Don't forget that your PIN should be a unique and challenging string of numbers. When creating your PIN, avoid using your birthday and easily guessed numbers like "1111" or "1234." For your security, you should never share your card's PIN.
