What do I need to bring with me to my mortgage closing?
To ensure that you bring all of the documentation associated with your closing, you should review the Needed Items list included with your approval letter. The following items are required for every mortgage closing:
- Valid government issued photo identification for all signers
- Recent paystubs dated within ten (10) days or less of the closing date
- Insurance binder reflecting the proper mortgage clause
In the case of a refinance, our attorney will advise you on the amount and type (personal or bank check) of funds required as well as any other documentation. If you are purchasing a new property, your attorney will provide you with similar information.
