Long Island’s leading credit union, Jovia Financial Credit Union now has the distinct honor as a Telly Award winner. In creative collaboration with its social media agency EGC, Jovia won a Silver Telly Award for Best Social Video Series in the Education & Discovery category for its financial literacy video series.
“Jovia Financial Credit Union is committed to advancing people’s knowledge about financial literacy and providing education to our members,” said Jovia Financial Credit Union’s Chief Marketing Officer Renu Dalessandro. “What better way to educate than create a video series to teach the basics of finance and banking.”
The collection of videos, entitled “Jo from Jovia Financial Literacy Series,” offers exceptional advice on a variety of money-related topics, explained in a way that is informative, yet entertaining and engaging. During each video, the charismatic advisor and spokesperson, Jo, breaks down the most complex financial questions and provides easy to understand answers and explanations about mortgage tips, the difference between credit unions and banks, whether to buy or lease a car, as well as different financial acronyms.
