Opportunities for High School Seniors

Application Period: May 1 – July 25

Jovia's Premier Scholarship awards one (1) $50,000 scholarship paid out over four years. Applicants of our High School Senior Scholarship are eligible to apply.

The submission period for applications ends July 25th.

Application Requirements:

Completed essay on assigned topic (included on the application below). Essays must be 500 words or less on the assigned essay topic. Your name should not be included in the essay.
Final unofficial school transcript (must include student’s name, grades, and GPA).
Documented proof of fifty (50) hours of community service. This must be documented and signed.

Eligibility Requirements:

This scholarship is only offered to applicants of our High School Senior Scholarship. High School Senior Scholarship applicants need not be winners to be eligible or apply.
Student applicant must be a Jovia Financial Credit Union member to be an eligible applicant.
Student must have a four year overall high school GPA of 90 or above.
Student must complete fifty (50) hours of community service.
Student must participate in three (3) extracurricular activities and/or sports.

Additional Notes:

Only one Premier Scholarship is awarded per student. You must have applied for the High School Scholarship in order to be eligible to apply for and receive the Premier Scholarship. Winners of the Premier Scholarship are not eligible to apply for and receive the College Scholarship. The winning student is required to maintain a GPA of 3.50 each year to receive scholarship. Winners will be announced 6–8 weeks following the application deadline. Scholarships are a one-time award. Scholarship money will be awarded in the form of a direct deposit into your account.
